Template support
Make it personal. Keep it polished.
A careful edit preserves the quiet balance of your design. Use this guide alongside the product-specific instructions included with your purchased package.
1. Start with your purchased package
When your Etsy purchase is available, download every numbered ZIP part in a web browser, extract the files, and open the included guide first. The package guide identifies the correct sizes, files, and Canva access for that product.
Website images are previews, not printable masters. Print files and template access are supplied through your Etsy purchase.
2. Create your own Canva copy
Open the template link supplied in your purchase, sign in to the Canva account you want to use, and create your own copy. Give it a recognizable name before editing. Keep the original copy as a backup and keep the buyer-access link private.
The listing and included guide specify which parts are editable. Text can be personalized in the supported template; illustrated artwork may be a fixed layer. If Canva asks for payment or a font is missing, stop and contact us before substituting elements.
3. Personalize without crowding
- Replace all sample names, dates, venues, addresses, prices, and contact details.
- Edit one text box at a time. Longer wording needs more space; shorten it or reduce its font size rather than covering nearby text or artwork.
- Preserve the text alignment, line spacing, and safe margins. Check every line after changing a name or font.
- Use your own high-resolution photographs where photo positions are included. Check cropping as well as sharpness.
- Inspect every page, including reverse sides and interiors, before exporting.
4. Proof the final file
Read the exported file at its intended size, not just the editor thumbnail. Check spelling, dates, line breaks, accents, alignment, and any text near the edges. Ask a second person to read it, then make a printed proof before ordering a full run.
For print, use PDF Print and follow your printer's requirements. For screen products, follow the package's pixel dimensions and export instructions. An exported PDF is not a replacement for your editable Canva copy.
For editable SVG files, use a compatible vector editor with the exact included fonts installed. Follow the separate instructions for HTML email products; Canva does not turn a visual layout into a working email.
